These three passionate and stage-savvy musicians, with their roots in Sicily and
Switzerland, didn’t find each other somewhere between friscalettu and alphorn music - but bang in the middle of British rock!

They quickly gave life to some timeless and tightly played songs, centered around
the charismatic voice of Michele Siciliano. All these songs, mostly addressing the
“game of life”, combine both old and new elements; a 1968 AC30 Vox collides with a
sampling machine, and rocking beats chase acoustic guitar pickings. Solid, but at
the same time light and airy, their songs grab you and surprise you with their cheek!

In December 06, Barakuda were invited to immortalise three of their pearls in the
legendary Powerplay Studio, together with producer Yann Rouiller and StrongReaction Music.

After two years of creative work and with their new single in their travel-bags,
Barakuda are now in the starting blocks with a highly-energised programme and a live show designed to sweep/knock you off your feet. In Juli 2008 they will release the first official Barakuda-CD with all Songs from the Studio, Live and Unplugged Sessions.
